Khao Manee Cat
Development in the Thailand (Siam)
A glistening snow coat and jewel-like odd eyes
The Khao Manee is a medium-sized, elegant feline with an athletic, well-muscled, and moderately long foreign-type body. Standing with graceful, fluid poise, they reflect their natural, non-engineered lineage. Their head is a modified, medium wedge with flat cheeks and large, expressive, upright ears that give them an alert, listening posture. Their most famous visual feature is their intensely luminous, almond-shaped eyes, which look like polished gemstones.
"A living Thai masterpiece. The Khao Manee represents centuries of royal luxury, glowing in pure white with eyes that capture the brilliance of celestial diamonds."
Their coat is short, fine, and exceptionally soft, lying close to the skin like smooth white silk. The color must be a pristine, brilliant, unbroken snow-white. Although kittens are sometimes born with a tiny dark smudge on their heads, this completely disappears by adulthood, leaving behind a flawless canvas that accentuates their beautiful amber, blue, or striking odd-colored (heterochromatic) eyes.
A brilliant talker who loves to join the fun
Beneath their highly aristocratic, noble appearance, Khao Manees are incredibly playful, extroverted, and loving companions. They are deeply bonded to their humans and hate to be left out of any activity. They are famously communicative, greeting you at the door with a sweet, expressive voice, and they get along beautifully with children, visitors, and other friendly household pets.
